OUR PHILOSOPHY
To create a restaurant that stands on the quality of its cuisine, design and service.
Ever aware of the modern health concerns shared by most discerning diners we realised that there was a demand for Indian cuisine that reflected original cooking processes and ingredients.
The chemical colourings, commercial curry pastes, flavour enhancers and preservatives used by so many restaurants today have no place in our kitchen.
Colourings are produced from natural ingredients like beetroot juice.
Ghee has been replaced by cholesterol-friendly vegetable oil.
The spices and herbs that make up our masalas are mixed, pounded, ground and prepared daily.
Every dish has its own personality and the diverse flavours within each one are apparent to all the senses.
STYLE
The contemporary design and colourful decor have resulted in an in atmosphere of calm which we feel creates the perfect backdrop for relaxed dining.
Sleek and stylish, our designers used a clever mix of natural materials and fabrics, adding warmth to the minimalist concept.
The cool ambience of the bar area benefits from lots of natural light and comfortable seating.
The ideal place in which to sit and peruse the menu while imbibing on an expertly mixed cocktail or glass of champagne.
